WSA is proud to be home to Page to Stage, Williamsburg’s year-round educational youth theatre program, and what began with one production in spring 2025 has quickly grown into a thriving theatre community for young performers across the Williamsburg area.

Since launching with The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Page to Stage has grown to produce multiple theatrical experiences throughout the year, from full-scale musicals at the historic Kimball Theatre to Shakespeare, junior productions, summer shows, masterclasses, and additional performance opportunities. Our young artists have taken the stage in productions including The Wizard of Oz – Youth Edition, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Little Mermaid JR., and more.

Today, Page to Stage serves young performers across elementary, middle, and high school ages, with opportunities designed for students at different stages of their theatre journey. Whether a child is stepping onto the stage for the very first time or is an experienced performer ready for a more challenging production, our goal is to create a place where young artists can learn, take creative risks, build confidence, develop their craft, and experience what it means to be part of a theatre company.

And we’re continuing to grow. With multiple productions each season, expanded classes and training opportunities, our developing Youth Shakespeare program, and increasingly spectacular mainstage productions, Page to Stage has become an important part of Williamsburg's performing arts community.

Your support helps make that growth possible. Ticket sales and tuition cover only a portion of what it takes to produce high-quality educational theatre. Donations and sponsorships help us provide professional-quality sets, costumes, technical theatre and sound equipment, performance venues, teaching artists, and, most importantly, scholarships that help ensure finances are never the reason a young person cannot participate.
